The Veterinary Excellence Tool is a handy app for any veterinary professional including students, vets in practice and anybody else working in the veterinary field. The Veterinary Excellence Tool is completely free and includes our full portfolio of Pet, Farm and Equine healthcare products. You can filter your product search by Category, Brand and Species or simply search for the specific product you are looking for. The app contains information about pharmaceutical presentation, uses, dosage and administration, withdrawal periods, contraindications & warnings and pharmaceutical precautions, as well as the relevant product image.

Classified by brand names instead of generic names ! Incomplete and useless
I downloaded this bc the description makes it seem like it will be useful to all types of vets--but other than sterile water and maybe one other drug (if that), there werent any drugs *at all* on the list Id ever use. Much less see in a small animal clinic. And the list of drugs seems puny for LA vets Id guess too. If youre a LA vet and want to follow up with the news, that may be useful. Not enough for me.
I downloaded this to see if there was any horse meds I didnt know of.. There was only two meds for horses in the whole list..! And all the other meds I never heard of.. -Download at your own risk- dont lag, or anything, just not really that useful..
I happen to be a veterinarian and find this an extremely useful tool. If I need to find a certain medication I need for a patient, I just look at my iPhone and find what Im looking for. Trust me Doctorate in Veterinary science of equin study for 3 years. I love this app! And highly recommend this to all! But may be a little advanced for those who are not in the field of veterinary science...
